Zambia Hosts African Coffee Safari
A very highly represented second International African Fine Coffee conference and exhibition opened on March 2, 2005. The Zambezi Sun Hotel hosting this coffee safari conference is brandy new. It's one of the Sun International's hotel resort only four years old and built on the banks of the Zambezi River in Livingstone, Zambia.
Coming from all over the world the delegates are expected to discuss the professionalisation of small holder coffee producers. This will assist them improve their techniques and organisation skills. And behold... the delegates will be availed a chance to see Zambia's fairy tale… Zambia’s safaris and its friendly people.
Dr Robet Nsibirwa, executive director of Eastern Africa Fine Coffee Association believes Zambia deserves this honour to host the conference / exhibition. And we couldn’t agree more! Zambia is a tourist destination of choice because of its pristine wilderness and teeming wildlife. And Livingstone town is Zambia's tourist capital and Southern Africa Adventure Centre .
A meet the "Coffee farm safari" in Mazabuka is a visit to a Zambian coffee farm run by a member of the Zambia Coffee Growers Association. This will be one of the highlights of the exhibition.
